How are Dividends Disbursed?

Surplus for each policy term may be declared by the Board following 3 years of claim maturity, and is disbursed in four annual installments of 25%. The dividend check received in 2026 included surplus premiums declared from the policy terms of 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020. All members are eligible for dividends, regardless of claims experience. Each member receives the same dividend percentage applied to the members’ audited premium. By member agreement, dividends may be forfeited should the member leave the group without proper notice.
